On January 6, 2025, Dr. Supavadee Aramvith participated in the IEEE-HKN Board of Governors Retreat at the Luxor Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, representing Regions 7–10. As a Governor of IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu (IEEE-HKN), Dr. Supavadee plays a vital role in shaping the future of one of IEEE’s most prestigious honor societies.
IEEE-HKN, founded in 1904, has a long-standing tradition of promoting Scholarship, Character, and Attitude—values that Dr. Supavadee strongly embodies. With over 200,000 members and more than 250 active chapters worldwide, the society supports students and professionals in electrical engineering, computer engineering, and related IEEE fields through leadership development, academic excellence, and service.
The annual board retreat brought together global HKN leaders to plan strategies for chapter engagement, outreach, and professional growth. As the Region 7–10 Governor, Dr. Supavadee shared perspectives from the Asia-Pacific, Canada, and other international regions, ensuring that voices from diverse chapters are heard and represented.
Her continued involvement highlights her dedication to nurturing future leaders and advancing professional excellence across IEEE communities worldwide.
