Dr. Supavadee Aramvith’s campaign for IEEE Region 11 Director-elect is deeply committed to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). We believe that a strong and united IEEE community begins with respecting every voice, embracing every background, and ensuring fairness for all.
As the Asia-Pacific region becomes Region 11—one of the most culturally and professionally diverse regions in IEEE—our vision is to build a space where all members feel seen, heard, and empowered. We recognize that diversity is not only about geography or identity, but also about experiences, perspectives, and ideas. Equity means giving every member fair access to opportunities and resources, and inclusion means actively involving everyone in shaping the future of IEEE.
Through this campaign, we aim to:

Encourage participation from underrepresented groups.

Promote inclusive leadership and decision-making.

Support programs that uplift early-career members, women in engineering, and those from underserved areas.

Build a Region 11 that values collaboration across boundaries of discipline, language, gender, and age.
Together, we can lead a future where IEEE truly reflects the richness of its global membership—starting right here in Region 11.
