8.8.25 Great news from today's MOU signing between TESA and Synopsys!  As a member of the TESA working group at Chulalongkorn University, I'm thrilled to see this collaboration take off.

This partnership is a huge step toward building Thailand's semiconductor industry. We'll be working on developing local talent and creating an Open System-on-Chip (SoC) for the AIoT Ecosystem by:

  •  Coordinating ASIC prototyping projects using Synopsys EDA tools.

  •  Expanding university partnerships to train the next generation of semiconductor experts.

  •  Creating an AIoT SoC prototype on the RISC-V platform.

This initiative directly addresses Thailand's significant reliance on imported technology and the need for highly skilled personnel. Together, we're strengthening the local ecosystem and fostering innovation.
